Terms of Service

Last updated: July 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hi-Api service (the “Service”) operated by Hi-Api. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for your team members' use of the Service. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any applicable law or infringe the rights of others;
  • store or transmit malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
  • circumvent rate limits, quotas, or plan restrictions, or place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
  • resell or expose the Service in a way that competes with it without our consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the schemas, entries, and other data you store in the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store Your Content and for complying with data-protection law regarding any personal data it contains.

4. Plans, billing, and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable notice. If a free trial applies, your subscription converts to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Account → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and Your Content may be deleted after a short grace period, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hi-Api will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
